Welcoming a baby into your life can be challenging, even with all the support in the world. PIPS has been supporting Canterbury families, for close to 50 years, by providing practical and emotional support during the first 1,000 days of a baby’s life. We firmly believe that every family deserves supported parents, thriving babies and to be connected to their community.
By providing free maternity and baby clothes, equipment and goods, we help to reduce the stress of poverty for mothers and families in the early years. We make sure families have what they need for baby to grow, develop and thrive.
We are more than just a clothing bank and are entirely unique in Canterbury. We empower families by giving them a choice of the items they receive. We do not means-test and families have no limit on what they can receive from PIPS. This removes the barriers that many families experience when accessing support services.
Now, we are asking for your support to help us, help others. Our organisation runs entirely on donations and philanthropic funding and we make every dollar go far to support as many Canterbury families as we can.
